Billionaire Bill Ackman's fund, Pershing Square, has posted a 15.9% yearly gain since 2004. That track record outperforms the S&P 500 by more than 5 points a year. A $1,000 investment with Ackman in 2004 would have grown to over $25,000 today. In recent trading activity, Ackman sold 25% of his stake in a major technology firm for two AI competitors. He also introduced a new way to back pre-IPO companies.
Beyond market holdings, Ackman made a donation to a brain research center after his daughter experienced a hemorrhage.
