Brendan Cellucci has been recalled to the Toronto Blue Jays from triple-A, the team said Tuesday.

Cellucci was promoted alongside Davis Schneider for the series against the Detroit Tigers.

Schneider was brought back from triple-A Buffalo.

Cellucci also joins the major league roster out of the minors.

The Blue Jays made both moves official.

The team added both players on the active roster for the series.

Both players will be with the club for the series against the Detroit Tigers.
