Caleb Douglas made his NFL debut on Sunday. He and Chris Bell were the starting wideouts for the Miami Dolphins in the opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. Douglas had a rough start. Later, Malik Willis found him for a 25-yard gain. The Dolphins kept their most veteran receiver out of the opener. That put the receiving work in young hands. The team used a youthful receiving group. That group generated interest as potential waiver-wire pickups in advance of the opener. The young group took center stage. Analysts suggested the group could stand out in a rookie receiving class. Douglas's only reception was recorded for 25 yards.
