The Australian dollar has undergone notable shifts. It rose sharply due to a boom in data centres and higher interest rates. However, the currency has also dropped to its lowest level since July as bets on a Reserve Bank of Australia rate hike have faded. Forecasts suggest potential support from China. Other market trends include a five-week rally in the USD/CAD exchange rate and a rebound in gold prices following a dollar recovery.
