Kodiak Sciences shares soared over 150% at the opening bell after its drugs successfully passed a key trial. The stock continued to rise, doubling in value as the new eye disease drug compared well to Eylea in a phase 3 trial. Additional reports indicated the stock rose 172% as Kodiak's drugs targeted Regeneron's Eylea. The company's stock price rose sharply toward $100 following strong phase 3 DAYBREAK trial data for wet AMD.
