In Piddington village, residents organised a referendum and chose to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy reacted to the vote. She stated the government will listen to the residents and take their views on board.

The government unveiled additional 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with challenges in life and provide support. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, after a pilot scheme locally. New hubs are planned for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East under the expansion plan.
