Prime Minister Mark Carney kicked off the Canada Investment Summit in Toronto on Tuesday.
He used the summit to announce a fresh Productivity Mega Deduction. The deduction is a tax measure designed to make Canada the most competitive G7 country for capital investment. Officials branded it a pivotal move.
Carney also told the summit that rules around visas will be discussed with the European Union. Police brought charges after a protest at the summit.
