London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the lost animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while trembling. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a regular survey in the Congo Basin.
