The PGA Tour noted he wagered on championship matches. His betting took place on several Tour events throughout the season. The suspension takes effect immediately and lasts six months. The ban remains six months.
ESPN and Golf Channel released the news on Wednesday. Golf Digest and Golfweek published the story afterward. The league said his bets were on Tour competitions. He cannot play or collect prize money during the ban.
