Gift Calculator

Our gift calculators show you how a gift to the American Heart Association provides benefits to you and your loved ones, while continuing to fight heart disease and stroke. Provide your basic information and receive an estimate of future income and charitable deductions.

Gift Annuity (link opens in new window)- You'll receive fixed annual payments for life and your gift will make a difference in the lives of future generations.

Deferred Gift Annuity (link opens in new window)- By delaying annuity payments until you're older you receive an immediate tax deduction, and it allows you to benefit from higher rates of return that continue to increase the longer you defer them.

Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (link opens in new window)- A great way to provide yourself or your beneficiaries with a steady, fixed amount of income each year regardless of the performance of the trust.

Charitable Remainder Trust (link opens in new window)- Your trust pays a percentage of the market value of the assets re-valued annually to you or your designated beneficiaries.

Retained Life Estate(link opens in new window) - You can continue to live in and use your property during your lifetime, and receive an income tax deduction based on the appraised value, if the property is a long-term asset (held for over one year).

Charitable Lead Annuity Trust (link opens in new window)- Reduce or possibly eliminate gift and estate taxes while receiving fixed payments.

Charitable Lead Unitrust (link opens in new window)- Pass on assets to your loved ones at reduced tax rates. The payments reduce or even eliminate the transfer taxes due when the remaining funds revert to your heirs.
