Humana is discontinuing several Medicare Advantage plans in 2027. Non-renewal notices are scheduled to be sent in early October. One estimate says up to 600,000 members may be impacted. Another estimate shows 64,000 seniors at risk of losing coverage. The letters are set to go out in early October, as planned.

The company has not disclosed which counties or plan types are being eliminated. This leaves affected beneficiaries a limited time to review alternatives during Medicare open enrollment. The company has not published a list of affected plans.
